What is there inside our website, how many pages are there, how many posts are there, how many images and videos are there, etc., all these information and details are inside the Sitemap. It is only with the help of the Sitemap that Google comes to know that there is a website with this name and this content is there inside this website. All the information of websites can be known only with the help of these Sitemaps.
Now let me tell you how these things takes place. See, there are robots of Google which from time to time keep visiting websites all over the world. They keep visiting every website and they keep finding out that this website has this much content, so many posts, so many images, this is a website, it belongs to this category.
They keep crawling every website from time to time. People keep visiting every website and these Google robots will be able to visit only when there is a Sitemap inside any website or blog. Now see, one advantage of adding a site map is that Google will know anything like this with the help of Sitemap. Without Sitemap, Google's robots will not know what is inside this website.
For example, suppose today we have 2 pages in our website, and after 2 days we have created 5 more pages in our website. This means that 7 pages have been completed or again if we have posted 3 posts on our website. In the next 10-12 days, we added 30 more posts, that is, we added a lot of posts, so how will Google know that there are so many pages inside this website or so many posts inside it, then all this work is done by Google's robots. Google robots keep crawling every website. Only they find out that this thing is inside it.
Secondly, suppose our blog has a page or a post. If we have edited or updated something in it, how will Google know? So because those robots come, the robots take information about it and they will be able to take all this information only when there is a site map inside our website or blog. And when we add or create a sitemap inside our website, then Google's robots visit the website and collect the data and update it on Google's servers.

अब वो पता कैसे चलता है ,वो मैं आपको बता देता हूँ।
देखिए गूगल के रोबोट्स होते हैं जो समय समय पर ऑल वर्ल्ड में जीतने भी वेबसाइट हैं, उन पर वो विजिट करते रहते हैं, वो जो रोबोट होते हैं। वो हर एक वेबसाइट में विजिट करते रहते हैं और वो पता लगाते रहते हैं कि ,इस वेबसाइट के अंदर ये सामग्री है, इतनी पोस्ट हैं, इतनी इमेज है। ये वेबसाइट है, वो इस कैटेगरी की है।
वो समयसमय पर हर एक वेबसाइट को क्रोल करते रहते हैं। हर एक वेबसाइट पर विजिट करते रहते हैं और यह गुगलगे वो रोबोट तभी विजिट कर पाएंगे जब किसी वेबसाइट या ब्लॉग के अंदर साइट मैप होगा।
अब देखिए साइट मैप ऐड करने का एक फायदा ये होता है कि गूगल को साइटमैप के बगैर ऐसे कुछ पता नहीं चलेगा। गूगल के जो रोबोट होते हैं उनको पता नहीं चलेगा कि इस वेबसाइट के अंदर क्या है?
फॉर एग्ज़ैम्पल मान लीजिए आज हमारी वेबसाइट के अंदर 2 पेज हैं, ठीक है और 2 दिन बाद में हमने हमारी वेबसाइट में 5 पेज और क्रियेट कर दी। इसका मतलब है 7 पेज हो गए या फिर हमारी वेबसाइट में आज हमने 3 पोस्ट डाल रखी हैं। अगले 10-12 दिन में हमने 30 पोस्ट और डाल दी यानी काफी पोस्ट हमने डाल दी तो गूगल को कैसे पता चलेगा की इस वेबसाइट के अंदर इतने पेज हैं या फिर इतने इसके अंदर पोस्ट हैं, तो ये सारा काम करते हैं गूगल के रोबोट जो हर एक वेबसाइट को क्रॉल करते रहते हैं। वही पता लगाते हैं कि इसके अंदर ये चीज़ होती है।
दूसरी बात मान लीजिए की हमारे ब्लॉग का कोई पेज है या फिर कोई पोस्ट। उसमें हमने कुछ एडिट कर दिया या कुछ अपडेट कर दिया ,तो गूगल को कैसे पता चलेगा ? तो क्योंकि वो रोबोट आते हैं, रोबोट इसकी जानकारी लेते हैं और ये सारी जानकारी वो तभी ले पाएंगे जब हमारी वेबसाइट या ब्लॉग के अंदर साइट मैप होगा । और जब हम अपनी वेबसाइट के अंदर साइटमैप ऐड कर देते हैं या क्रिएट कर देते हैं, तो जो गूगल के रोबोट होते हैं ,वो वेबसाइट पर विजिट करते हैं और वो डाटा उठा कर गूगल के सर्वर पर अपडेट करते हैं ।
अब नया विजिट जब हमारी वेबसाइट पर आएगा या फिर हमारे ब्लॉग के ऊपर आएगा तब गूगल अपने आप बता देता है कि इसके अंदर इतने 2 पेज हैं ,इतने इस के अंदर पोस्ट है, ये इस कैटेगरी का ब्लॉग है या इस कैटेगरी की वेबसाइट है, इस तरह से वो पूरी जानकारी देता है । ये तो सारा का सारा जो खेल है पूरा साइट मैप का होता है । तो शायद, अब आप समझ गए होंगे कि साइट मैप क्या होता है और ये हमारे ब्लॉग या वेबसाइट के लिए क्यों जरूरी होता है ।
